We've been having some rough sleeping spells around here lately. The boys are transitioning from two daily naps to one, and it's been rough. Two naps are too much, but they can't really handle just one, especially because they need that one nap in the morning.
Fall daylight savings was a nightmare in our house. We were in the midst of sleep training, having just dropped night feedings, and that one-hour shift was more than the little men could handle. So I was a little worried about what today would look like.
Here's what it looked like:
By some magical need to catch up on sleep, the boys took a 3-hour nap this morning, and they're currently on hour 2 of their second(!) nap. Should I be scared they won't sleep tonight?
The pillows are a recent addition, we've been having a lot of coughing during the night. I found our king-sized pillows are the perfect width: they don't create a pocket the boys can roll into while they sleep. It's helped Liam because he stays on his pillow all night. For Calvin, it's just something to roll off of and curl up next to.
Don't you love all of Liam's little friends? Kate apparently also enjoys the pillow.

I hate daylight savings. Pick one and go with it. NObody likes it. It's just an example of Congress trying to mandate authority over nature. Pfui.
ReplyDeleteIn other news, I loved my stuffed animals and slept with the whole lot in my bed every night!
I'm really happy for you, but we might not be able to be friends anymore. We've had the opposite reaction to day light savings. Again.
ReplyDelete(But your babies are wicked cute.)
