But aside from issues of boyish excess, this elephant corner needs some color! Can we all agree on that? I love the black and white elephant. And I adore the light fixture we hung in the hallway. But the grey walls and the neutral accessories just aren't cutting it. I'm thinking a bright pink bench below the elephant? Or a series of colorful frames over (instead of?) the elephant? I don't know.
What can I do to help this poor, drab corner? It's one of the first things you see when you come in the house. Once you turn the corner you're smacked with more color than your eyes can handle. So maybe I need to exercise some restraint here? Just not this much restraint?
Well, there was talk of a "Duboce" street sign at one time, but then again, that's black on white as well. Hmmm. Have you thought of moving the elephant to where the rhinoceros print is and putting a big, colorful painting where the elephant is? Just throwing ideas out there...
