Flowers
There's this store in San Francisco that I can't get enough of. Granted, there are a lot of great stores in SF, but I want to move into this one and just start living. They recently moved into a bigger space, but their old store was right across the street from our old house so I used to go in all the time. It's the perfect place to find a unique present for any occasion (they even have a baby store!). But the best part? Their new store has furniture! And not just any furniture, it's mostly DwellStudio furniture, which I kind of have an addiction to (more of an eye-candy addiction, not an indulging addiction). Walking into their store is like walking into the DwellStudio catalog, if Jonathan Adler had styled all the pages. Throw in a bunch of quirky and unusual decorative objects, and that's Aldea. It's maybe a little too much of only two designers, but if I had to choose only two designers to ever buy from again, those would definitely be my two (desert island designers?). The new store is perilously close to the Pilates studio where I go, which is more than a little dangerous for an addict.
I had to find a gift for someone yesterday, and I couldn't resist buying a smaller version of this Chive Pooley vase for us. The price was so very right, and the colors were perfect! I'm kind of in love.
